Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support testing efforts across our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) platform. This role focuses on validating business-critical workflows, contributing to Selenium-based automation, and ensuring high-quality releases through early defect detection and strong collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and continuous learner with solid fundamentals in test planning, test design, and overall quality strategy.

What you’ll do as the Quality Engineer: 

  •  Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Apply effective test planning techniques to ensure appropriate coverage of functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Validate end-to-end business workflows across D365 modules and integrated systems
  • Contribute to test automation using Selenium, focusing on critical business flows and regression coverage
  • Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning, ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and complete
  • Perform manual and automated regression testing in staging environments
  • Identify, log, and manage defects with clear severity, impact, and reproducibility
  • Participate in defect triage, helping prioritize issues based on business impact and risk
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, BSAs, and Product teams to clarify requirements and validate fixes
  • Support UAT readiness by ensuring features meet quality and stability expectations
  • Contribute to test reporting, including execution progress, defect trends, and coverage gaps
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps in testing, and opportunities for improvement early in the lifecycle

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering
  • Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar enterprise platforms
  • Experience with D365 modules such as Finance, SCM, or Customer Engagement
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
  • Basic understanding of API testing and tools like Postman
  • Experience with SQL/data validation
  • Solid grounding in test planning, test design, and quality strategy fundamentals

 

Strong foundational knowledge of:

  • Test planning and estimation
  • Test case design techniques (positive/negative scenarios, edge cases)
  • Overall test strategy and coverage approaches
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium-based test automation (Java, C#, or Python)
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
